A review of Baby Jogger's City Mini Single Stroller
What I saw is this: City Mini. And boy, was I glad that I came across that woman and saw the stroller she was using?! Baby Jogger's City Mini Single Stroller is only $220 and is definitely worth its price! It comes with the usual quick-fold technology that Baby Jogger takes pride in. It is lightweight, weighing only 16.8 pounds and yet could handle a baby as heavy as 50 pounds. It has a three-panel clear weather canopy that shields my baby from both the sun and the rain. Its ventilated and padded seat can be reclined up to 150 degrees and the multiple compartments are very useful for storage of milk bottles, extra shirts and other baby needs.
Basically, I love the new City Mini Single Stroller because of three things. First is because of the five-point safety harness that has a padded buckle cover and shoulder pads. It gives me comfort to know that the harness won't cause any discomfort to my baby whenever it gets a little too tight when she moves too much. Second is its weight! It's so light and I still can't believe a stroller can weigh this little and yet function as much or even better than other strollers that are way heavier and bulkier. Also, because of the quick-fold technology, folding it for storage or packing is never troublesome. I can bring it with me anywhere I go, even on trips that require a plane ride. Third, the wheels are sturdy, easy to turn and detachable! The eight-inch light quick-release wheels with ball bearings are very easy to maneuver on all kinds of roads and floorings. I can even push the stroller with my baby in it with just one hand!
Suggestions for improvement, although the stroller is already one great product even without these things, are as follows. First, more happy colors, please! Currently, the stroller is available in six colors, all of which are a combination of black, blue, grey, red, green and orange. I would definitely appreciate yellow, pink, light blue and a livelier shade of green. Second, it would have been better if the handlebar was adjustable. And lastly, when folded, I want the City Mini to stand without support. It does stand at an angle but I don't have walls to use as support all the time, especially when I'm out shopping.
